Another busy month here at LLR…… Some fab dogs came into the rescue…… Another small whippety girlie called Pebbles that was a private rehome that desperately needed some help and a new home, so in she came…. A lovely saluki girl called Annie, was found as a stray and spent some time at the RGT kennels before coming into the rescue, a total princess and was reserved very quickly, unsuprisingly….Lastly Zelda, she was found straying very near to the rescue so it was obvious her choice of a new home was to come into the rescue, she is a stunner….

We have had some great new homes again this month…Off went Pebbles to her lovely family in Bedfordshire, Pebbles was their first dog and they are over the moon with how she has settled in….Mitch after his new local family came back from their hols, went off to his forever home, he has a fantastic setting to get use to and a tip top family to help him settle in….Annie went off to join her new greyhound friend Fern and new super family in St Neots and finally Kym went off to foster with a view of being a permanent member of the family with her new boyfriend Mungo the lurcher…..fingers crossed they become smitten and failed fosterers !!!

Lastly to round off, with the very sad news that the decision was made to put to sleep TARA…In her short life she had undergone so much and was a very poorly girl and I needed to do what was right for her. I truly believed she came to the rescue for a reason and as devastated as I am that I had to help her on her onward journey, I am very grateful that I had the time with her to show her all the love and affection she so deserved with her 3 weeks with me. RIP you beautiful girl, pain free and forever in our hearts xx
